2026 National High School Science Debate Topics Now Available

Pelican Energy TCI is pleased to announce the debate topics/moots randomly assigned to schools participating in the 2026 National High School Science Debate. The debate competition will begin with the Preliminary Rounds on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, followed by the Semi-Finals on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Both rounds will be hosted at Pelican Energy TCI Headquarters in Providenciales.

The Grand Finale will take place on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex, Providenciales, as part of the 2026 National Science and Technology Fair schedule of competitions during Education Week.

A virtual debate preparation meeting will be held on January 16, 2026, via Microsoft Teams, for all teachers and students participating in the Science Debate. This session will provide a brief overview of the debate format to ensure participants know what to expect on competition day, and will also create an opportunity for questions. The meeting link will be sent directly to participating schools.
